Some Binders

HELLO!! Thank you for stopping by! 

I use binders a lot. The three ring type binder thingies? I have one for my basic day to day journal, and now one for my Krafts, a couple of others, but I wanted to show you these two to start! 

I was playing with Gypsy and Cricut today and really made some fun pretties for the front of these binders! Super excited that I'm feeling more comfortable with these gadgets, as I've been asked to put on some workshops and I believe these will help me a lot with those. 

Here is what I did in just an hour or two!

Sunday Cooking Day!

Hubby usually leaves early Monday mornings, but he had a band get together, and left around 2:30 yesterday instead :( Which also meant....I had to GET COOKIN!

I am a major foodie. I LOVE FOOD, I love feeding people, I love the way food looks, I love how it tastes, I love the way people enjoy what I make. Every aspect. 

This is how I started my day.

Got the bacon baking in the toaster oven, tore up bread for a french toast bake, cleaned and cut strawberries, tossed in blueberries, and when it was time to serve that I cut up banana into each of our lil cups..of course topped with Redi-Whip *my boyz love this* warmed the syrup, and melted some butter. Topped the bake with powdered sugar. Our son said DANG This is like IHop! 

While we were enjoying our breakfast, I started boiling water for my home made mac n cheese, and got the grill pan ready for some pork chops. While all of that was cooking I washed up the dishes and pans from breakfast.  In two containers, I put green beans, a pork chop, and mac n cheese TADAAA!

I had done a beef roast in the crock on Saturday, to shred up for sandwiches and another meal for hubby. So I made mashed potatoes, and gravy with the juices from the crock. SO GOOD! Shredded up a bunch for our son to make beef n provalone sammies! He loves that. So two more containers for hubby had; beef, tatos, gravy, and corn. 

THEN! I made goulash! Noodles, ground beef, tomato sauce, basil thyme, sugar, onion celery. Two containers of that topped with shredded mozzarella and Parmesan. Did up some garlic bread for him too. I did have 3 small glad bowls of fruit for him, it was so good!

I swear I will not have to cook at all this week for me or our son! I've a bunch of veggies to chop up for snacks is all. 

The best part is I cleaned as I went through all of this. The kitchen was SPOTLESS and hubby was packed for the week all by 11:30!! 

My FlyLady.net skills have really kicked in! I was very organized, and ready to tackle all of this cooking. So very happy knowing my hubby has yummies for his belly and it's healthy.

WAAAAAAHOOOOOOOOOO We have an EXPO goin on this Saturday!!! They are calling it The Super Bowl of In Home Parties!
We'll be at Buzzie's on The Bay, from 1-3 pm, and there will be lots of vendors there! I am doing Passion Parties and Stampin' Up! Very excited.

So...off I go to have a quiet evening, and gear up for tomorrow and Hubby's Return!

SUNDAY!

I have a love hate relationship with Sundays. Especially the Sundays that follow a "work outside of the home Saturday's". 

So far what you know of me is...I use the FlyLady.net to keep my home organized and out of CHAOS, I sell Stampin UP! And I sell Passion Parties. Well I've also done hair for ummm 20 some odd years, and that is my part time day job. At this point it is very slow, so I'm really working my businesses, to be one day independent of doing hair.

Since I had to work my 'day job' this Saturday, I scheduled a Stampin' UP! Workshop for 2 in the afternoon. SO this is 8 hours that I am not home with my husband. Hubby works 2 hours away from here, and stays there during the week. He's got a really nice place, and it's not far from his work. I really am ok with him being gone, with texting and internet it's like he's still here, but when he's home on the weekends I would really RATHER be home MOST of the time. *of course*

With the FlyLady's help, I have kept the house immaculate during the weeks, and have really gotten things organized, so we didn't have much at all to do on the weekend, except watch movies, play Wii and enjoy! Well for some reason, all heck broke loose today! 

I was gone from 7:40 am till 4:30 pm  yesterday. And This is the FIRST I've sat down today. I did not do any FlyLady routines, but thought oh heck the boyz can't wreck THAT much! DANG! We did throw in one extra little project that spiraled out of control, but geeeesh. I've been at it since 9!! Cooking cleaning laundry our project and getting things packed up for hubby. Why does ONE DAY of not doing things make it so hard the next day uhhhhhhg!!

Now the house is spotless again...we have lots of food for the week, and we're going to sit and enjoy the next football game. I really wanted to get into the Diva Den today but I want to spend time with hubby too! I do have tomorrow! 

Made home made chow mein, that is about done, and have a brisket in the crock, so he'll be stocked for lunches etc. *taco bake in the freezer for him too* whew I'm tired. Going to snuggle on the couch with hubby..will blog soooooon!!!!

This is a birthday card for a dear friend. 

Had such a blast today even though I felt like poo poo. Oh well that is a whole nother blog. Now I'm waiting for hubby to get home YAY He's doing my Walmart shopping lol, I don't even have to go there! He stops on his way home for the week. We spend less money that way HAHA! We don't need much, but the few things will help a ton for him to get there.

First Cricut Cuts!

LOVE The Jasmine cartridge that came with my Peppermint Cricut! Dandy little font it is!
This is the door to my Diva Den...gotta call it that, it's all things girls LOVE in that room! NO BOYS ALLOWED lol.

I used my 'repositional' Krylon to put it on the door cuz we don't have it stained yet! We're still under construction! But I love how quick it was to do this!! YAY!!!

Monday Monday...SO GOOD To Me!

I LOVE Mondays! Particularly after a long weekend with hubby and son! As much as I love them, I have a hard time cleaning the way I like, organizing the way I like, and even relaxing the way I like...when they are around. So come Mondays when hubby goes to the city for work, and son goes to school....OHHHH it's Krazy Katie time!!

I worked hard and we had a lot of fun over the New Year Weekend! Nice and quiet, and lots of great food that we used up from pantry and freezer...and I even got some craft time in!

Thank You Note For Christmas

What a morning. I always seem to do this on the first day of the New Year. Since my Christmas tree has been down, and only have my Santa's to put away *they are all organized in one spot upstairs* I decided I had to make my kitchen spotless after breakfast, and got busy in my Diva Den. Things got quite unorganized and I do not know how that happens uhg! So my Passion side is looking great, have orders ready to send out Monday, my 40% off sale went REALLY WELL! YAY! 

 Now my Stampin' UP! Side! WOOOHOOOO!!! It's coming along really really well! I want to do some Thank You notes and get a few hostess packets set up today. I also will have to list what I want to do for this Mega Party I'm invited to do *both SU AND PASSION*  I have so many ideas, I think I have to write or type it out. I want to be uber organized for it. I SO have to get used to this mini catalog thingy and the other supplimental one, not sure what it's called. I have them all lol but ummmm I cannot remember anything. Once I get it, it'll be there forever. 

 I also need to make labels and business cards for SU. Need to be prepared for this. I wasn't expecting it to go anywhere but a discount...but I've been asked to do a few things! Pretty honored that people want me to teach again.

Gonna be busy today and tomorrow! LOVE IT! My Cricut is to arrive MONDAY! So, I'd like all these things done or underway before lol so I can play around with that! WOHOOOOOOO!

Will post my creations in a while!!!!!
